On Site Assessment and Proposal
We will meet with you to evaluate your outdoor space, accessing factors such as soil quality, sunlight exposure, and existing plants. You will receive a project brief with an estimate of the costs for designs and implementation.

Detailed Garden Designs
We create comprehensive garden layouts that include a list of suitable species, plant placements, and any features such as pathways or seating to help you visualize your future garden.
Groundbreaking
This step includes removing existing sod, preparing the soil for planting, installing plants, and providing the foundation for your future plants to thrive.
Ongoing Care
We provide regular maintenance services, including pruning, weeding, and edging, to ensure your garden thrives and looks its best throughout the season. Our garden installations are designed to fill in and mimic ecosystems to reduce maintenance needs over time, but any garden is an evolving process.

Krystyna Oszkinis (she/her)
Krystyna is co-owner and lead designer of Rooted Gardens. She studied Environmental Studies and Studio Art at Dartmouth College and had been passionately tending outdoor spaces to enhance humans interactions with the natural world for the last decade.
Her current plant crush is Dicentra cucullaria (because a plant named "Dutchman's Breeches is adorable and silly and it provides early season nutrition to bumblebees) and her garden headphones are either playing nerdy plant podcasts or electro-pop.

Jane LeMasurier
Jane found her way into the gardening world from a background in coaching and teaching. She enjoys working alongside a team to help plants grow and prosper in their local habitats. When she’s not in the garden she can be found in the woods! She finds nothing more remarkable than being out on a trail jaunt and witnessing the brief, joyful pageantry of spring ephemerals. Some of Jane’s podcast faves are Completely Arbortrary and Ologies with Ali Ward because they make her LOL while inspiring engagement in nature!
Garden Guru/Education and Outreach Coordinator
Sarah Goldsmith (they/she)
Sarah has a background in environmental science and soil biogeochemistry. After years working in academia, they decided they wanted something more hands-on and transitioned to gardening. They are at their happiest digging in soil and are always interested in ways to improve soil health and carbon sequestration in home gardens.
Their favorite plant is Canadian Wild Ginger, for the oft-under looked diminutive flowers and dark green heart-shaped leaf. Their headphones are usually playing some combination of news or plant podcasts or rock/punk music.
